Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Kyoto International Manga Museum (hereinafter “the Museum”) shall strictly observe the Japanese Personal Information Protection Law and other relevant laws and regulations, as well as its own Privacy Policy, in handling personal information.
Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Personal information, such as name and postal address, obtained through inquiries and requests, will be used for sending information regarding the Museum’s exhibitions, events, etc. and for statistical purposes. These tasks will be entrusted to subcontractors (“the subcontractors”). The Museum and subcontractors will not use personal information for any purpose other than those specified by the Museum.
Security Measures for Protecting Personal Information
The Museum will strive to keep collected personal information accurate and up to date, and to avoid unauthorized access to personal information and prevent its loss, destruction, alteration or leakage.
Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Except in accord with Japanese laws and regulations, the Museum will not provide personal information to any third parties, without prior consent of the person concerned.
